Since the start of Elizabeth Smedley Speciality Foods in 1994 at Wetherby in West Yorkshire, the company has gone from strength to strength, moving into our new purpose built kitchen in 2002 at Melmerby near Ripon in North Yorkshire.
During this time we have gone from a one man operation to now employing eight people, and now make several thousand jars and bottles per week.
Our range continues to grow and we are always interested to hear your suggestions for new products.
All our preserves are made by hand using only the finest ingredients whereby locally grown produce is used wherever possible.
We have won many fans over the years and also in recent years have gained a number of great taste awards.
You can find a selection of our products in Delicatessens, Farm Shops, Tea Rooms, Garden Centres & Gift Shops, as well as being available from National Trust Shops.
